The newest addition to the 29029 Mountain family brought an international flair and uniquely Quebecois charm to the 2024 calendar.

As climbers tackled the Laurentian slopes, echoes of French camaraderie filled the air. Yet, it was Mother Nature who stole the show with this unforgettable debut.

Torrential rain and whipping winds battered the mountain on Summit Saturday, forcing you to dig even deeper into your reserves of resilience.

As challenging as it was unforgettable, Mont-Tremblant earned its place in 29029 legacy as a mountain that demanded ultimate grit, heart, and determination - something the 29029 community displayed in spades.

Some of the most powerful moments this year weren’t loud or celebratory - they were calm, quiet, and deeply personal.

Away from the buzzing start line and the energy of the aid stations - away from even your fellow climbers - at some point on a 29029 slope, you would find yourself alone.

We already talked about the torrential downpours of Mont-Tremblant, but that was not the only mountain battered by weather. Thunderous rains, stormy skies, and halted gondolas tested your grit on the 29029 mountains this season.

Through every downpour and every gust, you exemplified a quiet beauty - a reminder that true growth happens when you embrace the struggle.

Determined to rewrite their stories, they pushed harder and higher - proving that their past struggles did not define them, and finally earning the Red hat they had long dreamed of.

These REDemption stories proved that defeat is never the end, it’s simply a stepping stone on the path to the next summit.

4 - 60% New, 100% Stronger

The 29029 family expanded in both size and spirit in 2024, with nearly 60% of participants climbing their first mountain.

From the very first step to the final summit, these shared struggles forged unbreakable bonds as strangers quickly became teammates, and teammates became lifelong friends.

With every mountain climbed, the community grew - not just in size, but in strength.

And in every climb, the reminder was clear: the greatest challenges are best conquered together.

3 - Aspen Awaits

29029 announced yet another summit to look forward to - possibly the most challenging one yet: Aspen.

Bringing a new test of endurance, this new mountain will bring climbers over 11,000 feet in 2025. Even the most seasoned climbers will be pushed to the pinnacle of challenge in Colorado.

Alumni will gather, not just to discover what lies beyond 11,000 feet, but to test the limits of both endurance and the camaraderie of the 29029 community.

It will be a challenge not just of the body, but of spirit, as the 29029 community ascends to new heights.

2 - Blazing a New TRAIL

Expanding beyond mountains in 2024, TRAIL marked a bold step forward, proving that the spirit of the community transcends the summit.

Challenging you to cover the distance of Everest Base Camp in three days - going 3x3 - was the heart of the goal.

The proving ground? The rugged Tahoe Rim, perched above Lake Tahoe, where endurance met strategy over every mile.

With each mountain marathon day, TRAIL became a testament to the enduring resilience of the 29029 community. Whether it's mountains or marathons, 29029 is about continuing to climb, no matter the terrain.
