Park City became the second stop in the TRAIL format - a new test, forged from Tahoe’s foundation in 2024.

Over three days and three mountain marathons, participants discovered that TRAIL wasn’t just about endurance.

It was about mindset.

Each climb offered a view that felt earned,

Each descent, a reminder that progress rarely ran smooth.

TRAIL Park City proved that this endurance mountain hiking format wasn’t an experiment.

It was an evolution.

A new way to climb.

And then descend.

And to discover what’s possible.

When the tour reached Quebec, Canada, for 29029 Mont-Tremblant, the energy had hit a crescendo.

This would be a mountain filled with experience.

More Black Bibs stood here than ever before, each one proof that your journey doesn’t have to end with a Red Hat.

First-timers learned from veterans.

Veterans found new purpose in helping others climb.

And as the gondolas transported tired climbers back to the base, they were filled with stories of not just growth, but returning to serve.

Mont-Tremblant reminded everyone that 29029 wasn’t just about climbing a mountain.

It was about coming back stronger and giving others the belief to do the same.

Redemption

New Traditions

This year marked the debut of two traditions that cemented what it meant to be part of 29029’s legacy.

The Seven Summits Award was born after Aspen, the seventh 29029 mountain location. It's a milestone that mirrors the great peaks of the world.

It honors the rare few who have climbed them all.

And for the Black Bib community, a new symbol joined the legacy: the Black Bib Coin. Presented to every climber after their third Everest, this physical token is more than just recognition.
